ACTEAZ
ACTEAZ is Arizona's professional association for career and technical education (CTE) and runs a large annual conference for educators.
Since 2011, together with our design partner Bryo Media, KLB360 has been building the backend systems behind it: session proposals, conference registration, membership and mailing, exhibitor booking, scholarships, awards and administration. Their public website is not part of our work.

ACTEAZ is Arizona's professional association for career and technical education (CTE). Every year it runs a large conference for educators, with hundreds of sessions across different days and venues.
Since 2011, together with Bryo Media, we have been building the backend systems that run all of this. Not their public website, but the multi-part platform behind it:
- Session proposals: presenters use their own accounts to enter the session description, seat count, invited speakers, supplies and expenses. Every field is saved the moment it's filled in, so the work can be picked up again at any time.
- Registration and personal schedule: attendees build their own agenda from a day-by-day, filterable programme. Invitation-only sessions need a password. Payment is by purchase order, cheque or card, and card payments stay on the site from start to finish.
- Membership and mailing: membership management for returning attendees, plus our own mailing system that sends a set number of emails per minute on a schedule and shows its progress live.
- Exhibitors: exhibitors pick their booth on an interactive map, add extras such as meals, and pay the same way.
- Scholarships, awards and forms: submitting and evaluating scholarship and award applications, plus a form builder that lets admins create and send out their own forms.
- Administration: one shared back office ties it all together: users, organisations and conferences, reports, exports and PDFs.
The tech, briefly: PHP and MySQL, with a responsive Bootstrap interface that's comfortable to use on phones and tablets too.
